Electronic keyless locks are convenient and effective for many locking applications. These are standalone and powered by replaceable batteries, and are operated by a variety of means such as numerical code, fingerprint, smart phone, card or FOB swipe.
The problem is that their reliability is not 100%. Electronic or touch keypads are vulnerable to damage and vandalism, and not suitable for use in harsh conditions such as marine environment.

The use of contactless technology enables modular configuration for the locking system architecture, where electronics are enclosed in a housing to provide complete protection against water, salt and dust. The locking system is designed to exceed Ingress Protection ratings (e.g. IP68).
The modular configuration allows for the customisation of individual locks, grouped lock hierarchies and additional control functions. Every change is done quickly and cost effectively.
